The unit has 430 beds and a staff of 25 professionals. Patient ratios are 20-25 treatments per round. Key equipment includes oxygen therapy, BIPAP/CPAP machines, ventilators, nebulizers, and blood gas machines. Electronic medical record system used is Meditech. Candidates should have ICU experience and be familiar with typical procedures such as nebulizations, BIPAP/CPAP, and arterial blood gases. The ideal candidate enjoys a fast-paced environment. Rotation of weekends and on-call is preferable, with one 24-hour shift every 5-6 weeks. Dress code is navy blue scrubs.
