Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - $1,443 to $1,643 per week in Canon City, CO

We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
• One year experience as an RRT
• BLS certification
• ACLS (AHA)
• BLS (AHA)
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) via NBRC
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• PALS
• Neonate experience with Bubble Cpap and vent

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM.
• Weekend coverage required on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
• On-call coverage required about 4 days per month.
• Call response time is 1 hour.
• May float within RT in the local zone based on extreme need.
• Charting system: EPIC.
• RTs draw ABGs and perform EKGs.
• Covers inpatient, outpatient, and ER settings.
• During this shift, the therapist would be the only therapist on shift with a second therapist on call.
• Equipment includes Puritan Bennett 980 vents, C1 Hamilton CPAP and BIPAP, AirVo and Vapotherm HHF, and Fisher and Paykel Bubble CPAP.
