Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) with 2+ years of experience for a hospital night shift position.

Details

• Work within a hospital Respiratory department
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM)
• 13-week assignment length with potential 8 or 12 week options
• Weekend shifts as needed
• May float to other facilities within the health system as needed

Requirements

• CRT or RRT accepted
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an RRT required
• NBRC certification required
• BLS certification required
• State RRT license required if applicable
• Active certifications required at time of consideration, no pending certifications accepted
• Negative 10-panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required within 12 months of start and updated annually
• Must be nicotine-free as facility is a smoke-free environment

Additional Information

• Facility is a smoke-free and nicotine-free environment with no exceptions
• Background check results will be reviewed by the facility, and any license-related issues will not be accepted
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Candidates may extend assignments for up to 18 months, after which a 6-month break is typically required before returning to this health system
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
