Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (RRT) position located at an organized healthcare facility. The role involves providing respiratory care and related services on a 12-hour night shift. Duration of the assignment is approximately 14 weeks, starting from 10/13/2026 through 01/16/2027.
Job Details:
- Position Title: Respiratory Therapist
- Location: Childrens Hospital Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus
- Schedule: 12-Hour Nights | 6:45 PM 7:15 AM. The minimum hours per week are 36.
- Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP
- Minimum Qualifications: Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Cardiopulmonary; must have prior travel assignment experience; licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT); minimum 3 years Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience; minimum 3 years Neonatal ICU experience; minimum 1 year Pediatric Level 1 Trauma experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Minimum 4 years Pediatric ICU; Minimum 4 years Neonatal ICU; Minimum 2 years Pediatric Level 1 Trauma.
- Additional Notes: The candidate must be available to work on Thanksgiving, with a requirement to work at least 2 of the 3 holiday days. No on-call requirement. The assignment length is 14 weeks.
- Minimum Experience: 0 years
- Required Clinical Experience: Minimum 3 years Pediatric ICU, Neonatal ICU, and Pediatric Level 1 Trauma experience.
- Additional Requirements: Must work observed holidays if they fall within the contract period; no requested time off approved within the first two weeks; medical and religious exemption requests for influenza vaccination are permitted.
- Float Requirement: The employer reserves the right to float or reassign personnel within the clinical competence of the professional to other areas of practice within their assigned metro area.
