Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) Pediatric Emergency Department Dallas, Texas. This role involves providing respiratory therapy in a busy pediatric emergency setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering respiratory care to pediatric patients, utilizing advanced equipment, and adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
Job Details:
- Location: Dallas, Texas
- Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Position Type: 2 positions available with the organization for the duration from 10/19/2026 to 01/18/2027
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in respiratory therapy, applicable education, current state licensure, minimum 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy, and experience in pediatric critical care settings.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience with pediatric critical care procedures and respiratory equipment.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Candidates should have experience with pediatric respiratory equipment, bronchiolitic scoring, respiratory arrest management, noninvasive ventilation, and invasive ventilation procedures. The unit is equipped with advanced respiratory equipment and utilizes the Meditech electronic medical record system. The team values experienced staff with a strong focus on patient care quality.
