The role requires providing specialized respiratory care to pediatric and neonatal patients, ensuring the highest standards of clinical excellence within the hospital environment.
Job Details
- Position Description: Respiratory Therapist, Registered (RRT) with a focus on pediatric and neonatal intensive care.
- Required Qualifications: Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Cardiopulmonary, registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification, a minimum of 3 years Pediatric ICU experience, 3 years Neonatal ICU (Level 3 or 4), 1 year Pediatric Emergency Department, 1 year Pediatric Level 1 Trauma, and 5 years of overall Respiratory Therapist experience. Certifications include ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP. Valid licensure and the ability to work in the designated location are required.
- Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, beginning at 6:45 AM and ending at 7:15 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The assignment includes working 13 weekend shifts out of 26, with some major holiday work required. Deployment to North or South Campus may be needed, and a float flexibility to other areas within thirty-five miles of the initial facility is reserved by the client.
