Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RRT) Critical Care, Nights The organization is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist Registered for a critical care position in an adult ICU and Emergency Department setting. This role involves managing advanced ventilator support and working within a Level 1 trauma center environment, providing vital respiratory care in a busy, high-acuity facility.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Respiratory Therapist License, Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, minimum of 2 years of experience, level 1 trauma center experience in a hospital with over 400 beds, proficient in advanced ventilator management including esophageal balloons, PV loop interpretations, driving pressure assessment, and optimal PEEP maneuvers. Ventilators used include Hamilton G5, C6, T1, MR1, Phillips EV300, and Ino Vent. The candidate must be available for on-call duties.
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The orientation session occurs weekly on Mondays. Candidates should provide available dates and times for interviews during submission. Applicants must have been separated from a previous facility for at least 6 months if they have recently worked there. Parking costs up to $43 per day.
