Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a night shift position at a rural hospital, requiring newborn experience and NYS DOH licensure.

Details

  • 83-bed rural hospital setting handling everything from high-risk deliveries to trauma patients
  • No NICU on site, but hospital has L&D
  • Night shift 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM with rotating weekends
  • Work independently as an experienced, well-rounded RRT
  • Uses ventilators, bipaps, high flows, and all oxygen delivery systems
  • On-call back-up available

Requirements

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
  • NYS DOH license required if applicable
  • Minimum 3 years of experience required, 5+ years preferred
  • Newborn experience required
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only)
  • NRP and PALS certifications preferred (AHA only)
  • Two professional references from previous managers required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Work as part of a well-rounded respiratory therapy team covering diverse patient populations
  • Local candidates accepted within 60 miles at a reduced rate
