Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (RT) Pediatric (PEDS) for a facility in a high-acuity care setting. This position involves providing advanced respiratory care and diagnostic procedures for patients of all ages, including neonatal and pediatric populations, with a focus on Level 2 NICU. The role requires critical care expertise, neonatal and pediatric experience, and certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. The assignment is scheduled for a rotating night shift with call and weekend rotations, starting on 10/06/2026.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Work 3-12-hour night shifts, rotating call and weekends. Minimum of 36 hours per week.

  • Required Qualifications:

    • Certifications: NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT); must have all including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP (American Heart Association)
    • Education: Completion of an approved Respiratory Therapy Program as mandated by licensing requirements
    • License: Valid Colorado Registered Respiratory Therapist license (DORA) in good standing
    • Experience: At least 5 years of respiratory therapy experience, with neonatal, pediatric, and Level 2 NICU experience
    • Vaccination: Mandatory flu vaccination from October 1st through April 1st
  • Preferred Qualifications:

    • Previous travel therapy experience preferred but not explicitly required
    • Ability to demonstrate excellent critical care and ventilator skills
  • Additional Information:

    • Travelers permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility, per radius rule.
    • Agency registration must be completed through the Colorado CAPS system, with proper out-of-state agency registration if applicable.
    • The proper SSN and DOB must be verified in Medefis to prevent onboarding issues.
