Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist with 5+ years of experience for a night shift travel assignment supporting adult, NICU, and pediatric critical care service lines.

Details

• Work within a large hospital Respiratory Services department supporting adult and pediatric/NICU service lines
• Patient ratios range from 10 to 25
• Utilizes GE R860 adult ventilators, Draeger Infant/Peds ventilators, Newport HT70 transport ventilators, V60 non-invasive devices, Vapotherm, and Comfort Flow high flow oxygen devices
• Cerner EMR used for documentation
• Night shift hours from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Varying weekend schedule with at least 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• Floating required to all Critical Care units and floors

Requirements

• Active RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) certification required
• North Carolina Respiratory License required if applicable
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• NRP certification preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience required
• Minimum 6 months of experience within the last 6 months required for allied candidates
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory therapy care across adult and pediatric/NICU critical care service lines
• Work as part of a large respiratory therapy team of approximately 120 staff members
• Scrub color requirement: medium gray or pewter
• Facility is a Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, and includes a Level III NICU
• 50-mile radius rule applies; local candidates will not be considered
