Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) position available in a healthcare facility setting. The role involves providing respiratory care to pediatric patients, with a focus on delivering quality patient-centered services. The assignment requires working night shifts, and the successful candidate must meet specific licensing and certification requirements.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Current Massachusetts Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license, certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA), active certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC), and at least 3 years of current pediatric respiratory therapy experience. Candidate must provide recent supervisory reference from within the past two years, include perm address in profile, and have their own vehicle for the assignment.
- Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications highly preferred.
- Additional Information: Travelers must be available to work scheduled blocks for major holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Requests for time off must be submitted at the time of application; no vacation requests after submission will be approved. Must be willing to work every other weekend and holiday as needed. All scheduling requests are to be made at the time of submission.
