Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) with experience across outpatient, ICU, ED, Med/Surg, Pediatrics, and OB settings for a 13-week hospital assignment.
Details
- Work across multiple departments including outpatient, med/surg, ICU, pediatrics, OB, and ED
- Outpatient duties may include PFTs, Holter monitors/ZioPatches, telemedicine with pulmonary physician, home sleep study instruction, and stress tests
- Inpatient duties include high-risk deliveries and c-sections in OB
- Rotating 12-hour shifts covering both days and nights
- Rotating weekend shifts required
- On-call responsibilities overnight from 7p-6a
- 36 hours per week expected schedule
Requirements
- Current RRT or CRT credential
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
- Experience across all age ranges, from neonates to adults
- ICU, ER, Med/Surg, Peds, and L&D experience with neonate exposure preferred
- COVID and flu vaccinations required
- SD state license required if applicable
Additional Information
- Perform respiratory therapy services across a wide variety of inpatient and outpatient settings
- Support high-risk OB deliveries and surgical procedures
- Training available for holter/zio monitor setup, telemedicine, and home sleep study equipment if not already experienced
- Blocked scheduling and specific scheduling requests are not permitted
- Prior Avera or Sanford permanent employees are not eligible for this position
