Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) Location: Hawaii. This role involves providing respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients within a healthcare facility. The position requires delivering airway management, ventilator support, and physician consultation, ensuring quality respiratory services across all patient populations.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Hawaii License by start of assignment; proof of flu vaccination or approved exemption; must care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients; minimum 2 years of experience; state of Hawaii Respiratory Therapy License, BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required; NRP and RRT preferred.
- Schedule: Night shift from 1830 to 0700, three 12-hour shifts weekly (36 hours), with no guarantee of hours.
- Must arrive the Thursday before the start date to attend employee health appointment on Friday.
- Provide continuous airway management, ventilator and non-invasive ventilator support, physician consulting, CPR, and all facets of respiratory care.
- Equipment utilized includes computerized charting, Pyxis medication management, PB 980, PB 840 ventilators, V60, and Para Pac Transport Vent.
- Submit application for consideration; no first assignments.
