Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a night shift position requiring Draeger or GE ventilator experience and HFOV proficiency.

Details

• Respiratory Care unit setting
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM
• Weekend requirement every third weekend
• May float to PICU and NICU as needed
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active IA state license required (compact license accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of previous experience required
• Prior travel contract experience preferred
• Draeger or GE ventilator experience required
• HFOV experience required
• PICU/NICU experience required for potential floating assignments
• Valid driver's license required
• Work history/resume required
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year required
• License verification required
• Copy of required certifications required
• One supervisory reference required at time of submission
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Contribute clinical knowledge and skills as part of an interdisciplinary care team
• May float within discipline across local campuses
• Weekly orientation held every Monday
• Travelers are required to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving)
• Limited time-off requests during peak holiday periods in late November and late December
• Candidates must have a taxable address outside 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rate
• First-time travelers may be considered
