Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) position in a short-term acute care facility located in a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center. This role involves providing respiratory care and interventions for pediatric and adult patients across various units, including ER, ICU, and medical floors. The position offers a night shift schedule with responsibilities including floor care, rapid response, code response, and working within a team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Washington state license with a compact license in hand at submission; at least 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist; Certifications include ACLS*, BLS, PALS*, RRT.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in trauma, ER, or pediatric units; familiarity with aerosol setup, mechanical ventilation troubleshooting, and arterial blood gas interpretation.
  • Additional Information: Candidates should be comfortable floating between units, with floor care, emergency response, and rapid response tasks. Orientation consists of 36 hours prior to start date. Candidates must be flexible to work scheduled holidays and adhere to shift and scheduling requirements. References covering at least 1 year within the past 3 years are required.
