Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) position located in Atlanta, Georgia. This role involves providing pediatric respiratory care across multiple areas including the Intensive Care Unit, Emergency Department, and general pediatric care units. The shift consists of 12-hour days with every other weekend required, offering a dynamic environment that demands flexibility and clinical expertise.
Job Details
- Schedule: 12-hour days, with every other weekend required. Minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Georgia license, active BLS, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and flu vaccination for the 2025-2026 flu season, with no exemptions accepted. A minimum of 2 years of pediatric critical care experience in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and Emergency Department (ED). Must be registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
- Preferred Qualifications: Extensive critical care experience in PICU, NICU, and ED; Level I trauma experience highly preferred.
- Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: This position is at a NICOTINE FREE FACILITY which must be tested along with the drug screen. Must be open to floating and available to start on 09/28/2026.
