Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for an Emergency Department night shift position requiring 2+ years of experience and an active Ohio RRT license.

Details

• Emergency Department (ED) RRT position
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours), 19:00-7:30
• Weekend shifts as needed
• May float to other CCF facilities as needed
• 13-week assignment length with 8 or 12 week options available

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an RRT
• NBRC and BLS certifications required, active and in hand at time of consideration
• Ohio RRT license required in hand - license required if applicable
• ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required
• Negative 10-panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required within 12 months of start and updated annually
• Two professional references required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from assignments worked in the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Facility is smoke-free and requires candidates to be nicotine-free with no exceptions
• Background check hits of any kind will be reviewed by the facility, license hits are not accepted
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this facility for 1 year from their previous end date
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of signing contract
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Assignments may be extended for a period of up to 18 months, after which a 6-month break is required before returning to this facility
