Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a night shift hospital position requiring 2 years of RRT experience and Ohio RRT licensure.

Details

• Respiratory Therapy department position
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Weekend shifts as needed
• May float to other facilities within the health system as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an RRT
• Ohio RRT license required if applicable
• NBRC certification required, active and in hand at time of consideration
• BLS certification required
• Negative 10 panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required within 12 months of start, updated annually
• Must be nicotine free as facility is smoke free with no exceptions
• COVID-19 vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only

Additional Information

• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Travelers are expected to work every other holiday
• All RTO requests must be discussed during the interview process
• Background check hits of any kind will be reviewed by the facility, though open cases and license hits are not accepted
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• Assignments may be extended up to 18 consecutive months, after which a 6-month break is required before returning to this health system
