Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) – Augusta, GA
Assignment Details

Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
- Patient Population: Neonates, Adults, and Geriatrics
Required Certifications
- BLS
- ACLS
- RRT preferred
- CRT accepted only if the candidate has critical care experience and at least 5 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
- Preferred: NRP and PALS
Charting System
- Epic (Required)
- Pyxis
Schedule & Facility Requirements
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call requirement
- Floating required within the facility and, if needed, to Piedmont Augusta Summerville (approximately 3 miles away)
- Local candidates accepted at the same travel rate
Time-Off (RTO) Policy
- Maximum 7 days of RTO
- Blackout Dates:April 4 – April 12 (Spring Break)
Holiday Requirements
Travelers are expected to work holidays based on the assignment period:
- If 1 major holiday falls during the assignment, the traveler must work that holiday.
- If 2 major holidays fall during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work both.
- If 3 major holidays fall during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work 2 of the 3.

- New Year's Eve / New Year's Day
Compliance
- Full compliance is required before the start date.
- Failure to complete compliance on time will result in a 2-week start-date delay due to the facility's bi-weekly orientation schedule.

- Troubleshooting High-Pressure Alarms
- Weaning from Mechanical Ventilation
- Oxygen Therapy
- Trach Collar
- Tracheostomy Care & Management
- Extubation
- Oral/Nasal Suctioning
- Nebulizer Therapy
Preferred Skills
