Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) position located in Ottumwa, Iowa. This role involves providing respiratory care with neonatal, pediatric, and adult patient populations in a dynamic healthcare environment. The position requires the ability to start within 7-10 days of offer acceptance.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights shift, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP; Iowa license must be in hand at time of submission; 1-2 years of experience; some neonatal and pediatric experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with both neonatal and pediatric patients.
  • Additional Information: Must pass Iowa SING background check (criminal and child abuse portions); all background checks must be fully cleared prior to start; mandatory reporter certification for child and adult abuse; drug screen required (10-panel including opiates); onboarding includes specific compliance requirements. The assignment is ideal for candidates living 60 miles or more from the facility.
