Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years critical care experience and pediatric experience for a day shift position at a level III trauma center.

Details

• Level III trauma center with 194-bed Respiratory Care Services department
• Specialties include Critical Care, ICU, general respiratory modalities, Trauma, Rapid Response Team, and Stroke Team
• Patient population ranges from newborn to geriatric with occasional general pediatric care needs
• Uses equipment including PB980, Vapotherm, Parapac, Respironics BiPAP V60, Fisher & Paykel Bubble CPAP, and Opti-Flow
• Cerner EHR system
• Day shift 7A-7P with rotating weekends
• No call requirements
• No floating required

Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required, CRTs not accepted
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• New Mexico state licensure required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Pediatric experience required
• Critical Care/ICU/ED experience required
• Two-year Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy required

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory care across a broad patient population from newborn to geriatric
• Support critical care, ICU, trauma, rapid response, and stroke team functions
• Work within a facility recognized for PCI, Mammography, and Laboratory accreditation
