Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Start Date: ASAP
Assignment Length: 12 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week
Schedule: Nights | 5:45 PM – 6:15 AM | 3x12s
Patient Ratio: 2:1 to 3–4:1
Join a dynamic 27-bed Intensive Care Unit as a Travel ICU RN and provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced critical care nurse seeking a fast-paced travel assignment with a consistent 3x12 night-shift schedule.
The ideal candidate will bring strong critical-care experience, sound clinical judgment, and the ability to work effectively in a high-acuity environment.
Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
Monitor patients closely and recognize changes in condition.
Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to physician orders and facility protocols.
Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in Medhost.
Respond quickly and appropriately to changes in patient status.
Provide patient and family education and support.
Maintain a safe, organized, and professional patient-care environment.
Float to Stepdown as needed.
Active RN License
BLS certification
ACLS certification
Minimum 2+ years of recent nursing experience
Strong Critical Care / ICU experience
Ability to work night shifts
Must be available to start ASAP
Must meet all facility and submission requirements.
Travelers must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
