Overview
Registered Nurse - PCU in Fort Myers, Florida, United States. Travel assignment starting December 4, 2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,049 to $2,191 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 12-hour Nights on a 12x3 schedule. Home base will be a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry floor with PCU exposure; floating to other campuses and MS units as needed. EMR: Epic. Prior travel experience is highly preferred. Active Florida RN license required; BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required. A strong mix of PCU and MS/Tele experience is expected.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for PCU and mixed Medical-Surgical/Telemetry patients during night shifts
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, manage IV therapies, and perform routine assessments
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement and adjust care plans; participate in rounds and contribute to safe patient transitions
- Float to MS, Telemetry, PCU, and ED across campuses as required; maintain patient safety, comfort, and advocacy
- Document accurately in Epic EMR; ensure precise medication administration records and timely charting
- Respond quickly to changes in patient condition; escalate concerns per protocol and assist with admissions and discharges
Requirements
- Active RN license in Florida
- 2 years of PCU experience with a mix of MS/Tele; prior travel experience preferred
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Education: Accredited nursing degree; BSN preferred or equivalent combination of education/experience
- EMR: Epic experience
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts; willingness to float to other campuses and units as needed
