Registered Nurse - OR, Exeter, NH. This travel, temporary assignment starts 11/30/2026 for 14 weeks in a hospital operating room. Responsibilities
- Deliver perioperative nursing care for surgical patients in the operating room, including preop assessment, monitoring, and post-op handoff.
- Maintain sterile technique, configure and manage equipment, and assist the surgical team with case setup and instrument counts.
- Monitor anesthesia progression and patient status, respond to intraoperative events, and support anesthesia providers as needed.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, circulating nurses, and surgical technicians to ensure patient safety and efficient case flow.
- Document intraoperative care accurately, manage equipment and specimen handling, and participate in room turnover and environmental safety.
Requirements
- Massachusetts RN license required at time of submission.
- BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications required.
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in travel and trauma hospital settings or equivalent hospital experience.
- Flu vaccine required prior to start; no religious exemptions.
- Requisition notes: BILH coversheet required at time of submission.
- No locals will be considered.
