Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for OB/GYN patients following established standards of care and nursing process
- Collect and analyze data, develop and implement care plans, and coordinate with the multidisciplinary team
- Monitor patient status, administer medications and procedures, and respond to changes with critical thinking
- Collaborate with obstetric, gynecology, anesthesia, and ancillary staff; supervise nursing staff as needed
- Educate patients and families, participate in discharge planning, and promote safe, healing, and respectful care
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (California)
- BLS or CPR certification from an approved vendor per policy
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Minimum two years of recent OB/GYN or acute care RN experience
- BSN preferred
