Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele night shift position requiring a minimum of 2 years of RN experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

  • Inpatient Med/Surg unit with telemetry capability
  • Primary patient population includes general medical/surgical, observation, respiratory, palliative/end-of-life/hospice, psychiatric observation, and diabetic patients
  • Schedule: nights, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
  • Every other weekend required; holiday coverage as needed
  • Floating may be required across all health system facilities
  • Epic EMR — experience is mandatory

Requirements

  • Active NC or Compact RN license required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
  • Epic EMR experience is required
  • Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
  • A copy of your driver's license (DL) is required for consideration
  • Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration

Additional Information

  • All RNs must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during onboarding — two attempts are allowed; study materials will not be provided by the facility, so candidates should prepare in advance
  • Prior Charge RN experience is preferred
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
  • 13-week contract
