Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for an Acute GI Medicine Unit requiring 2+ years of specialty experience and NIH certification.

Details

  • Acute GI Medicine Unit within a hospital setting
  • 12-hour day shifts scheduled from 7a-7p
  • 3 shifts per week with 36 guaranteed hours weekly
  • No on-call requirements

Requirements

  • Active RN license (GA or Compact) required
  • Current BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
  • ACLS certification preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience within the specialty required

Additional Information

  • Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
  • Returning perm staff must have a 2-year break before returning as a non-local traveler
  • RTO must be requested prior to accepting an offer and cannot be requested after
