Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
- Apply critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment in daily care.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record while ensuring patient safety and quality of care.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license (state of assignment) in good standing.
- Ability to work nights in a 12-hour shift pattern and meet the demands of Med Surg care.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver care according to the nursing process and standards.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary staff.
- Ability to complete onboarding and credentialing requirements for a travel assignment.
