Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an individual patient or a group of patients using the nursing process
- Collect and analyze data, identify care needs, and develop an evidence-based plan of care
- Implement interventions, administer medications, and coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members
- Monitor patients on telemetry as applicable and respond to changes in condition promptly
- Document care accurately and participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
- Educate patients and families, provide learning opportunities for staff, and delegate tasks to appropriate team members
- Maintain a safe, healing environment and collaborate with the care team to optimize patient outcomes
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (California)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) per policy
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification per policy
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the field; acute care/med-surg and telemetry experience preferred
- Solid telemetry experience for mixed MS/Tele units
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Ability to work nights and meet shift requirements
- Vaccination requirements per facility policy
