Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience preferred
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Ability to float to PCU when needed, unless telemetry trained
• Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg patients in an acute care setting
• Monitor patient conditions, respond to changes, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately in EPIC
• Support patient education, discharge planning, and transitions of care
• Maintain reliable attendance and flexibility for weekend, floating, and occasional extra shift expectations
• Promote a positive patient experience through compassionate, professional bedside care
