Responsibilities
- Provide wound care and general nursing care for residents in a long-term care setting
- Conduct wound assessments and implement care plans per physician orders; manage dressings and related treatments
- Administer medications, monitor responses, and document in the medical record
- Monitor patient status, report changes, and collaborate with physicians and wound care specialists
- Ensure safety, infection control, and adherence to facility policies
- Participate in on-call rotation as assigned
Requirements
- Wound care experience required
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation
