Travel Registered Nurse - Infusion

Location: Utica, New York
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts
Local Candidates: Accepted (75-Mile Radius Rule Applies)

Weekly Gross Pay:
$2,900 to $3,100

NurseAmerica is seeking an experienced Outpatient Infusion RN for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have recent outpatient infusion experience, chemotherapy certification, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced infusion center caring for adult and geriatric patients.

• Administer chemotherapy, infusion therapies, and blood products

• Monitor patients for treatment reactions and complications

• Provide care for oncology, neurology, anemia, GI, and other infusion patients

• Document and coordinate care using EPIC

• Float as needed within assigned areas

• Active RN License

• BLS & ACLS Certifications

• Chemotherapy Certification

• Minimum 1 year of Outpatient Infusion experience

• Experience with blood product administration

• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills

• EPIC, Omnicell, Ascom, Glucometer

• Alaris Pumps & Elastomeric Pumps
