    Overview
    Registered Nurse – ICU travel assignment in Utica, New York. Start date 09/27/2026 for 16 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,344–$2,423 per week with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift is night shift (6:30 p.m.–7:00 a.m.), typically 12-hour shifts; block scheduling is not guaranteed. The assignment requires ICU-level critical care nursing within a dedicated care unit and will involve travel nursing responsibilities across related ICU services as needed. Local candidates within 75 miles may qualify for local rate. RTO requests must be included at submission. EPIC EMR experience is required, and current NY RN licensure plus Nursys verification must be on file.

    Responsibilities
    - Provide direct patient care for ICU patients, including neuro, trauma, and cardio-supported cases; monitor hemodynamics, respiratory status, and neurological status.
    - Administer medications and therapies, including vasoactive infusions, CRRT (Prismaflex or NxStage), and other ICU-specific treatments.
    - Operate and manage critical care equipment (ventilators, ICP monitoring, ventriculostomy, IABP, and other ICU therapies); respond to alarms and changing patient conditions.
    - Document thoroughly in EPIC EMR; ensure accurate, timely charting and communication during handoffs.
    - Collaborate with physicians, bedside teams, therapists, and case management to develop and implement care plans; participate in multidisciplinary rounds.
    - Maintain safety and infection control standards; support float needs across ICU units as assigned.

    Requirements
    - Active NY Registered Nursing license; Nursys license verification showing an active NY RN license and any other active RN licenses.
    - Certifications: Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS; NIHSS required.
    - Experience: Minimum 2 years ICU experience; 4–5 years ICU experience preferred; travel ICU experience required.
    - EMR: EPIC experience required.
    - Education: RN degree (permitted to practice as an RN in New York); ability to work in an ICU setting.
    - Other: Ability to work night shift; willingness to float to related ICU units as needed; driver’s license with address that matches demographics; resume up-to-date showing 2+ years ICU experience and travel experience.
    - Scheduling notes: RTO (time off) requests must be included at submission.
