    We’re looking for a Hospice RN – Regional Support to join our team. In this dynamic role, you’ll provide direct care to patients and support to families, while also serving as a floating clinician—temporarily assigned to different hospice branches based on census needs or staffing gaps.     As a Hospice RN – Regional Support, You Will:







    * Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care for hospice patients




    * Manage and implement individualized plans of care




    * Support and lead interdisciplinary team members (LPNs, CNAs, HHAs, etc.)




    * Assess and address patients’ physical, emotional, spiritual, and environmental needs




    * Accurately document all care provided and ensure compliance with hospice protocols




    * Educate families and caregivers on care instructions, medications, and safety




    * Participate in the on-call rotation and provide after-hours care as needed




    * Collaborate with physicians, referral sources, and the care team




    * Assist with referrals, regulatory documentation, and payer compliance




    * Travel to various Gentiva hospice locations as assigned to fill urgent needs






    Schedule & Travel:






    This role typically follows a Monday–Friday schedule, with occasional on-call responsibilities. Travel is required and may include:






    + Option 1: Overnight travel required to cities within a 100-mile radius.



    + Option 2: Frequent overnight travel to multiple states is required.



    + Option 3: Regional travel with overnight stays based on assignment needs.

    About You






    Qualifications – What You’ll Bring:







    * Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of employment




    * Minimum of 1 year of RN experience (hospice, home health, acute care, long-term care, oncology or other high acuity setting)




    * Current CPR certification




    * Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation






    Preferred Experience (Not required):







    * Hospice and end-of-life nursing experience




    * Skilled in clinical assessments and compassionate communication




    * Strong critical thinking, flexibility, and problem-solving skills




    * Comfortable working in varied environments with shifting needs




    * Proficient in documentation and electronic health records




    * Calm and supportive in crisis situations; skilled at family engagement
