    Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER) travel assignment in Springfield, Massachusetts. Start date: 09/07/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,569–$2,685. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week.     Responsibilities
    - Provide direct emergency nursing care to a diverse mix of patients, including behavioral health, boarding, trauma, and critically ill/ICU-level cases
    - Assess, triage, monitor, and re-assess patient conditions; respond to rapid changes in patient status
    - Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; implement and adjust care plans as needed
    - Perform procedures and assist with urgent and emergent interventions as within scope of practice
    - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (physicians, respiratory, imaging, behavioral health, and support services) to coordinate care
    - Document care accurately in the electronic medical record; ensure patient safety and infection control standards are maintained
    - Demonstrate critical care skills, adaptability, and composure in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

    Requirements
    - Active registered nursing license in Massachusetts
    - BLS and ACLS certification required
    - Minimum 2 years of ED or ICU experience, post-orientation
    - Ability to work in a large, high-acuity emergency department
    - Willingness to work 3x12-hour night shifts and travel as a temporary assignment
    - Candidates outside Massachusetts must meet any agency-specific radius requirements

    Education
    - Graduation from an accredited registered nursing program (RN)
