Overview
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER) travel assignment in Saratoga Springs, NY, United States. Start date 09/28/2026 for several weeks. Weekly pay range $1,912 to $2,045 per week. No guaranteed hours. Shift 3x12-hour nights. This assignment is in an ED setting within a regional health system serving both adult and pediatric patients.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-volume emergency department (adult and pediatric) with approximately 120 visits per day and 36 beds
- Perform triage, patient assessments, continuous monitoring, and telemetry; obtain and interpret 12-lead EKGs
- Administer medications, manage IVs, and respond to emergencies with rapid assessment and interventions
- Document accurately in EPIC; collaborate with Respiratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, Social Services, Rapid Response, and other interdisciplinary teams
- Support discharge planning, transfers, and admissions as needed; participate in quality and safety initiatives
- Adhere to unit policies, maintain competency in rhythm ID and other required skills, and float as directed by the manager based on skillset
Requirements
- NY RN license in hand at submission/start
- BLS, PALS, NIHSS required
- EPIC charting experience
- Telemetry skills; ability to obtain and interpret 12-lead EKGs
- Must pass facility rhythm ID competency testing and Relias EKG exam shortly after signing
- Minimum 2 years in the emergency department; preferred 5 years current ED experience
- References required
- Education: active RN credential (state licensure) and ability to practice in NY
- Flu vaccine required by 11/1; exemptions considered per policy; COVID-19 vaccine not required
