    Overview
    Registered Nurse – Emergency Department in Saint Louis, MO. This travel assignment begins on 09/08/2026 and runs for weeks in a high-volume, acute care ED. Earn $1,882–$1,901 per week with 36 hours guaranteed on a 3x12 Night shift, in an ED that serves adult and pediatric patients in a general hospital setting.

    Responsibilities
    - Deliver direct patient care to adult and pediatric ED patients, including triage, assessment, monitoring, treatment, and disposition decisions (discharge or admission).
    - Perform EKG/12-lead, start IVs, administer medications, monitor responses, and escalate as needed.
    - Recognize and manage dysrhythmias; assist with airway management including intubation; respond to respiratory distress or deterioration.
    - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (Respiratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, Social Services, Unit Secretary, Interpretation Services) to coordinate patient care.
    - Document care accurately in the Epic EMR; ensure patient safety, handoffs, and adherence to ED protocols.
    - Manage trauma and psychiatric patients within the ED; maintain appropriate monitoring and de-escalation as needed.

    Requirements
    - Active RN license in Missouri; Illinois license in hand at submittal may be required; Missouri accepts submission without license (verify per state)
    - Minimum 2 years of ER RN experience
    - Certifications: ACLS, BLS/BCLS, NIHSS, PALS; CPI and TNCC preferred
    - Proficiency with Epic electronic charting
    - Education: Graduation from an accredited RN program; current licensure
    - Pre-start requirements: complete required modules and labs; follow pre-start timeline (modules completed prior to start; labs within 48–72 hours of signing); flu vaccination required
