Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Assess patient condition, monitor status, and implement appropriate interventions following orders.
- Administer medications and treatments, evaluate responses, and document accurately.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
- Apply critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making to plan and adjust patient care.
- Maintain patient safety, comfort, and privacy; communicate clearly with patients, families, and the health care team.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- ER nursing experience
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (RN)
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts (36 hours per week) in a hospital setting
- Willingness to participate in a 13-week travel assignment starting 11/30/2026
- Eligibility to work in the United States and to travel for the assignment
