Experience Requirements:
At least 1 year of professional nursing experience.
Ability to assess patients, administer medications, perform nursing procedures, and respond to medical emergencies.
Experience in a correctional facility is relevant to the role, although not explicitly required.
Ability to guide and supervise LPNs/LVNs and non-licensed medical staff.
Ability to recognize patient deterioration, initiate appropriate interventions, and coordinate emergency referrals.
Experience maintaining accurate medical records and following medication, safety, confidentiality, and facility policies.
