Job Description:
Position: Dietitian
Location: Staten Island, New York
Setting: Acute Care Hospital
Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule:
- 8:30am-4:30pm
- 37.5 hours per week
- 4-week weekend rotation required
Travel Pay Package:
- $3,024 per week total. Includes base pay, housing, meals and incidentals
Overview:
- Coordinate all phases of nutrition care including assessment, care planning, monitoring, education, and counseling
- Assess patient nutritional status and develop individualized nutrition care plans
- Provide nutrition counseling and education to patients and families
- Cover all units throughout the hospital
- Complete approximately 10 nutrition assessments per day
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Support patients in an acute care hospital environment

Requirements:
- Registered Dietitian (RD) required
- Active New York State Dietitian license required
- Minimum 1 year of Dietitian experience required
- Acute care experience required
- Participation in 4-week weekend rotation required
- CNSC preferred
- Strong clinical nutrition assessment and counseling skills preferred
