Job Summary:
Dietitian, Specialized in Pediatrics, located in Alaska. This position involves providing nutritional care for diverse patient age groups, including neonates, infants, adolescents, children, and adults. The role requires clinical expertise and experience with Epic charting system, with preferred experience in pediatric nutrition. The assignment duration is 13 weeks with the possibility to extend.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. The start date is 10/19/2026, and the end date is 01/18/2027.
- Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a dietitian, including pediatric experience. Certifications required include Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDNS). Valid state license is preferred in hand; pending license accepted with a processing time of 10-12 weeks.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting system, pediatric clinical experience, and knowledge of EN (Enteral Nutrition) and PN (Parenteral Nutrition).
- Additional Information: The position involves working in an acute hospital with a Level II Trauma designation and 407 staffed beds. The facility operates a Monday through Friday schedule with no weekends or call required. Travelers must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year). References covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) are required. Candidates must be at least 50 miles from the facility and are not accepted locally. Housing options are limited, and candidates are advised to explore area housing. The assignment allows for floating within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals. All candidates must include SSN, DOB, and RTO approval with their submittal.
