Talent4Health is seeking a travel RDN - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist for a travel job in Elmhurst, New York.
Monitors patients for and provides education on food/drug interactions. Records food and drug interactions in the education section. Consults with physicians regarding appropriate diet modification. Job Responsibilities: -Screens and assesses patients in an accurate and timely manner based on levels of care; determines patients' nutritional needs and status and provides follow-up care. -Interviews patients and/or their families to obtain history of food habits and preferences. -Interprets pertinent laboratory, physical and social data in the medical record, as it applies to nutrition care. -Provides nutrition education and records patient's diet and diet instructions and the patient's understanding of the diet in the education section. -Modifies patient menus as needed.
