Job Summary:
Dietitian position available in a medical center setting located in Arlington. This role involves providing nutritional assessments, patient education, and documentation of patient tolerances and responses to nutritional support. - Certifications and Education: Must be a Registered Dietitian licensed in the State of Texas.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in dietetics, nutrition, or related field; current registration as a Registered Dietitian; at least 1 year of experience; available to work the specified shift; strong customer service skills; ability to educate patients regarding their diets.
- Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with experience in assessment of patients, documentation, and making nutritional recommendations are preferred.
- Additional Information: The role covers multi-areas to be determined, within a unit accommodating 432 beds and staffed by six dietitians. The unit operates on a day shift with a patient ratio of approximately 10-15 patients per dietitian. Please note adherence to unit policies and dress code of red scrubs. Weekend and on-call availability are required if applicable.
