Job Summary
Dietitian in Savannah, GA This position involves providing specialized nutritional care within a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). The role requires independent assessment and planning to support the nutritional needs of neonatal patients, utilizing advanced techniques and equipment.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field; valid Dietitian licensure or registration; 0+ years of experience in clinical nutrition or pediatric critical care; location in Savannah, GA
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a neonatal intensive care unit or pediatric intensive care unit; proficiency with nutrition equipment such as Ventilators, Bubble CPAP, and nitric oxide delivery systems; familiarity with electronic documentation systems
- Additional Information: Candidates must be able to independently manage the nutritional care of vented patients, set up and administer heliox therapy, and perform invasive and non-invasive ventilation support. Equipment variously includes Servo U ventilators, Drager VN500, F&P Bubble CPAP, and high-frequency ventilation devices. Standard hospital policies and guidelines specific to neonatal critical care are to be followed.
