Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced GI/Endoscopy RN with endoscopy experience for a day shift position requiring an active RN license and ACLS certification.

Details

• Work in a 12-bed Endoscopy unit
• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge RN, 3-4 RNs, and 2-3 techs
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Uses ERBE intraoperative equipment
• Meditech Expanse EMR, experience preferred
• Schedule is 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Typical procedures include EGD, ERCP, colonoscopy, and bronchoscopy
• No floating required
• Approximately 1 night per week with weekend call as assigned and 1 weekend per month

Requirements

• Active RN license (NH or compact) required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Endoscopy experience required
• 1 year of recent experience in specialty required
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Professional reference required

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care for endoscopic procedures including EGD, ERCP, colonoscopy, and bronchoscopy
• Candidates should have a flexible and positive personality fit for the unit
• Scrubs may be facility-provided or own; no specific color assignment
• No RTO or special requests allowed for this rapid response position
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
