Requirements

• 5+ years of Emergency Department experience required.
• Must have current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH, and PALS or ENPC.
• Handle with Care (HWC) training is available on-site.
• Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler.
• Must consent to random drug screening and complete the Criminal Questionnaire/Consent Form.
• Must be willing to float as needed.

• Unit: Emergency Room
• Number of Beds: 31 beds and 2 triage rooms
• Behavioral Health: 7 beds are used for behavioral health or acute patients.
• Patient Ratio: Typically 1:4; ratios may vary during high-volume periods or when patients are awaiting admission or discharge.
• Patient Population: All ages, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
• EHR: MedHost (primarily for the ED) and Meditech (for certain admitted, boarding, and behavioral health patients).
• Weekend Requirement: Rotating weekends/as needed
• Call Requirement: None
• Scrubs: Any color
