American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, requiring ARRT-R certification and an Oregon Radiologic Technologist license.

Requirements

• ARRT-R (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Radiography) certification required
• Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiologic Technologist license required
• BLS certification required
• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs as ordered by physicians
• Position and instruct patients prior to examinations
• Adjust x-ray equipment voltage, current, and exposure time for each radiograph
• Explain procedures to patients and answer questions
• Prepare equipment and examination rooms for patient exams
• Monitor patients and ensure safety during exams
• Document exam information and report important findings to physicians
