Position Details

  • Schedule:4 × 9-hour shifts
  • Shift:7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Work Days:Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday

Required Qualifications:

  • ARRT (R) – Required
  • BLS – American Heart Association – Required
  • 1+ Year Radiologic Technologist Experience
  • CT Certification – Required
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills 

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic X-ray and radiographic procedures according to provider orders and department protocols.
  • Safely position, immobilize, transfer, and educate patients before and during examinations.
  • Operate X-ray imaging equipment and related technology appropriately.
  • Coordinate examinations to ensure timely, high-quality, and continuous patient care.
  • Review and correctly follow provider imaging orders.
  • Evaluate image quality and obtain additional images when necessary.
  • Submit required images and relevant clinical information to the Radiologist for interpretation.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media according to Radiologist protocols.
  • Follow Radiation Safety / ALARA principles to protect patients and staff.
  • Practice sterile technique and infection prevention standards.
  • Maintain appropriate department supplies and assist with inventory/charging as required.
  • Safely perform patient transfers and other imaging-related patient care activities.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, coworkers, Radiologists, physicians, and leadership.
  • Supervise and evaluate Student Radiographers in the clinical setting when assigned.
  • Successfully manage multiple tasks and projects while meeting departmental deadlines.

Radiation Badge Requirement

  • Personal radiation monitoring badge (dosimeter) is required.
  • Candidates are encouraged to use an existing badge from a previous employer/assignment when available to maintain a continuous radiation exposure record.
  • If a new badge is issued, previous exposure history will not be reflected. 

Language Requirement

  • English – Read, Write & Speak

  • Must demonstrate strong attention to detail and professional communication.  
  • Must be comfortable working collaboratively within a multifunctional clinical team.
  • Must be able to learn and utilize position-specific computer applications and systems.
