Job Summary: Following established protocols and under the medical supervision of certified radiologists, Radiology Technologists perform imaging procedures for diagnostic interpretation. They assist radiologists during procedures, supervise student technologists, and maintain excellent customer relations. Responsibilities include ensuring patient safety, efficient use of imaging equipment, instructing patients, maintaining accurate records, adhering to safety policies, and promoting the mission and values of the healthcare organization.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED
• South Carolina Radiation Quality Standard Association (SCRQSA) Radiographer Certification
• ARRT Radiography (R) Certification
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Allied Health Professionals

Additional Information:

• Knowledge of OSHA, DHEC, FDA, and TJC standards and regulations
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to perform and teach radiologic exams
• Proficiency in operating radiologic and standard office equipment
