Job Description

• Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations as ordered by physicians.
• Prepare and position patients correctly to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Operate and maintain X-ray equipment following safety and quality standards.
• Follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and self.
• Verify patient identity and explain imaging procedures.
• Monitor patients during examinations and provide compassionate care.
• Review images for quality and repeat studies when necessary.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures in the EMR.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare team members.
• Ensure imaging rooms and equipment are clean, stocked, and functioning properly.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification – Required
• BLS (AHA) Certification – Required
• Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures, anatomy, and radiation safety.
• Excellent communication, patient care, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment and maintain high-quality patient care.
